During each visit, our Home Watch team provides a thorough inspection of your home’s exterior to ensure everything remains secure and well-maintained. Our detailed review includes — but is not limited to — the following:
 
  • Clearing junk mail, flyers, and newspapers from the mailbox and front door
  • Bringing packages inside or forwarding them according to your instructions
  • Inspecting the yard and property for trash, debris, or overgrown weeds
  • Monitoring landscaping for proper upkeep and appearance
  • Performing a visual inspection of siding, roof, and gutters for any obvious damage or issues
  • Checking for drainage concerns that could lead to water problems
  • Looking for signs of water damage, mold, or mildew
  • Inspecting window and lanai screens for tears or other damage
  • Ensuring all doors and windows show no signs of forced entry

Our Home Watch team provides a detailed inspection of your home’s interior to ensure everything remains secure, clean, and in good working order. Each visit includes — but is not limited to — the following checks:
 
  • Confirming your security system is functioning properly
  • Testing fire, smoke, and carbon monoxide alarms, and replacing batteries as needed
  • Verifying thermostat settings and monitoring interior temperature and humidity levels
  • Checking for any signs of vandalism or forced entry
  • Inspecting for pest activity, including insects or rodents
  • Looking for unexpected water leaks or plumbing issues
  • Examining ceilings and skylights for any evidence of water damage
  • Flushing toilets and running water in sinks, tubs, and showers (including the garbage disposal) to keep lines clear and seals from drying out
  • Running short cycles on dishwashers and washing machines to maintain operation
  • Checking refrigerators and freezers for proper temperature and performance
  • Inspecting and replacing (if supplied) air conditioning filters as needed
  • Ensuring all doors and windows are secure and undamaged

Our experienced team follows a detailed process to ensure your home is properly prepared and promptly assessed once conditions are safe.

Pre-Storm Services Include:
 
  • Contacting necessary vendors for installation of storm shutters for maximum protection
  • Removal of outdoor furniture and exterior items that could cause damage in high winds
  • Clearing all perishables from refrigerators and freezers to prevent spoilage in case of power loss
  • Following owner and A/C vendor instructions regarding air conditioning system settings during the storm
  • Providing detailed photos of your property confirming all preparations have been completed

Post-Storm Services Include:
 
  • Visiting the property as soon as conditions are safe and access is permitted
  • Taking photos of all visible damage for your records and insurance documentation
  • Performing a visual inspection of the A/C system, electrical breakers, and key electronics
  • Notifying the owner of the property’s condition and power status
  • Contacting necessary vendors for evaluation and repair of any damage
  • Overseeing major issues or emergency repairs as directed by the property owner
  • Contacting necessary vendors for removing and storing storm shutters once conditions stabilize
